Erotic Costumes

There are many different kind of sexy costumes.  Sometimes, what makes an ordinary costume an erotic costume is nothing more than the attitude with which it is worn, but most of the time, the costume is specifically designed to be sexy.  Fortunately, there are a hell of a lot of different ways for a person to look sexy.

It's important to be aware of one important distinction – while all children's costumes are for kids, not every costume labelled adult means that it is intended to be a sexy costume.  Some of them are just trying to indicate what size they are.  Usually, it won't be at all hard to figure out which are erotic costumes and which are not with a little common sense, but if you're ever not sure, ask the costume seller – they'll definitely know.

Some erotic costumes are simply sexy versions of regular costumes, and if you have one of these costumes, it's not hard to sex it up.  There isn't that much difference between a nurse costume and a naughty nurse costume!  What makes the costume sexy is generally the cut or the fabric – a skimpy schoolgirl costume can be a sexy costume, but so can a regular cut schoolgirl outfit that just happens to be a pvc costume or a latex costume.  A police uniform costume that just happens to be hot pink will have a similar effect.  Sexy isn't necessarily about showing off skin – it's a state of mind.  Otherwise, no one would ever wear a naughty nun costume.
 
A regular costume can easily enough become an erotic costume, too.  If you're wearing a mermaid costume, for example, consider going topless (if your hair is short, you may want to wear a longer costume wig to help provide some cover).  If you're wearing a French maid outfit, consider wearing it without uunderwear (except for the stockings) – especially if it has a low cut neckline.

Some of the most erotic costumes are even simpler than that – they're little more than erotic lingerie worn with a well-chosen mask that matches the lingerie.  Sometimes, taking off some clothes can hide who you are just as much, if not more, than putting on some diffferent ones.  If you don't have a mask, a good combination of wig and sunglasses can hide your identity just as well – especially if you're generally a shy person.  (Besides, just think of the looks on your friend's faces when they realise that the hot lingerie wearer is someone they thoguht was kinda repressed.)

With a lingerie costume, you have a wide variety of options.  Various kinds of bodystocking or leotard are popular, as are corsets, camisoles and  bustiers.  You can wear ppretty much anythiung you want, so long as you're comfortable showing off that much skin (and you won't get too cold).  If at all possible, you should try to wear a garter belt and stockings (either fishnet stockings or sheer stockings, depending on your preference) – not many people wear those today (outside of the Rocky Horror Show at least), and if you're going to do it, you might as well go all the way.  Besides, what's sexier than a garter belt and stockings, on a man or a woman?

With a sexy costume, you're almost always better off to buy rather than rent the costume.  And the more intimate the apparel in question, the more true this is.  Not only does buying the costume mean you don't have to worry about who may have worn it before you, but in addition, it means that you'll always have it available should you and your partner decide to spice up things with a little sexy role play.
